Military Spouse Employment Partnership operated by Army Community Service centers in cooperation with the Employment Readiness Program, helps all Army spouses, including spouses of deceased Soldiers and Defense Department Civilians, to gain a competitive edge in the job market by connecting them with corporate and federal agency partners.

The MSEP works with the ERP, community agencies and the DOD’s Spouse Education and Career Opportunities initiative to provide a full range of services to Family members to assist them with their job search and career development.

Services include:

  • Up-to-date information on local, national and international employment opportunities, job market trends, and education and volunteer resources
  • Information on spouse reimbursement for professional licensure
  • Classes and seminars on self-assessment and career exploration, resume writing, interviewing techniques, dressing for success, networking and entrepreneurship
  • Resume critiques
  • Career counseling and individual career assessments
  • Information on job fairs (in person and virtual) and other hiring events
  • Entrepreneurial opportunities for home-based businesses so Family members can work from their Army quarters, developing rewarding careers that follow them through moves to different installations
  • Virtual career library access
