As the Director, Prevention, Resilience and Readiness Directorate, Ms. Geise is responsible for oversight of the Army’s Soldier and Family Readiness portfolio. She provides advice, support, and leadership for an organization responsible for policies, programs, and resources for installations worldwide. Priorities are to ensure infrastructure and services are available for senior mission commanders and to enhance the readiness of Soldiers, Civilians, and their Families. She leads a team responsible for regulatory guidance, strategy, and resourcing for Soldier and Family, Child, Youth, and School Services, Morale, Welfare and Recreation, Army Community Service, the Exceptional Family Member Program, the Family Advocacy Program, Integrated Prevention, Ready and Resilient Integration and Training, Assessments, Army SHARP, and Science and Research programs resourced at over $2B per year. She also administers the QOL Task Force, which is reviewing the full range of Army care, support, and enrichment programs with initial emphasis on housing, healthcare, childcare, spouse employment, and permanent change of station moves.

Previous executive assignments include the Director of Installation Services, Office of the Assistant Chief Staff for Installation Management and Assistant Deputy for Family Programs, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs. She has accumulated 27 years of federal civil service in assignments at all levels of installation management, both in the continental United States and overseas.

Ms. Geise earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from American International University and a Masters of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. She has also attended several executive level courses at the U. S. Army War College and the Federal Executive Institute.
